Business After Hours and Breakfast Roundtable.
Business After Hours is sponsored by the Chamber members. These well-attended gatherings provide an opportunity to exchange business cards while meeting your fellow members in a congenial and social atmosphere. These events are normally the third Thursday of the month at Chamber member's businesses locations from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Breakfast Roundtables are held quarterly at 7:45 a.m. various locations in the community. There you can learn about current issues affecting our area.
 
Chamber Committees.

Be a member of one of our Issue Manager Groups- Education, Community, Membership, Retail, Ambassadors or Regional Strategy. Each committee is comprised of Chamber members volunteering their time and effort on behalf of the Chamber, promoting the interests of the business community, and ultimately showcasing their own talents. Chamber-To-Chamber Communications.
The Chamber maintains a relationship with other chambers; should you need information regarding a business located in another state, we can assist you through the chamber in that location.

Internet Website Listings.
Chamber members are entitled to a free listing on our Internet Web Site.   This provides a professional internet presence for our members. Members who have their own website can have it hyperlinked to our site for free or simply have important information listed about your company. In addition, our web page includes regional information, benefits and services for members, calendar of events, committee and membership forms, and business resource links. More than 215,000 people have viewed the Chamber's website.
 
Chamber newsletter.
Chamber Weekly E-News, goes to 1,000 businesses each week. New and renewed members are listed in the publication. Members may advertise on our website and newsletter.
 
Grand Opening Service.
Opening a new business? The Chamber offers free grand openings services to your business. Pictures of grand opening events are published at no cost in at no cost in the Chamber Beacon, the Chamber newsletter.

The Chamber offers many free opportunities that can promote and grow your business.

 
Business Displays.
Members can display their promotional materials in the Chambers' visitor center. and in our newcomer packets. Many packets are mailed each month.
 
Ready-To-Use Labels.
The Chamber provides mailing lists of our membership on ready-to-use labels or simply in a report format. This helps businesses to get a database of business prospects.
 
Referrals.
Each year, the Chamber staff makes hundreds of business referrals of our members to potential customers. The Chamber only refers businesses who are members of the Chamber.
 
Assistance.
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is here if you have problems with your business or if you just need assistance. Just call or email us. If we cannot solve the dilemma ourselves, we will put you in touch with either other members who have experienced the same situation or agencies that may have a resolution or service you need. It's quick, it's easy, it's confidential, and it's free.
 
Advocacy for Business
 
The Chamber is the voice of the business community on local, county, and state issues. The Legislative Affairs Issue Manager Group interacts with local, county and state politicians at luncheons, breakfasts, and through advocacy for specific issues. They research legislative issues and make recommendations to the Chamber's Board of Directors. There is power in numbers. Through various efforts of the Chamber such as lobbying, action calls, and establishing a rapport with local officials, we are able to provide a strong voice for members which will impact legislation affecting your business.
