What Are Chamber Bucks? Chamber Bucks are a valid bank check that spends just like cash and can be used at any Jackson County Chamber of Commerce participating member business. The program is designed to promote community members to “Shop at Home.” Chamber Bucks encourage local shopping, which, in turn, strengthens our economy and supports business growth. Chamber Bucks should be handled just like a check-deposit them directly into your business bank account. There is no cost to you, the merchant, and the chamber makes no money on this, it is strictly a benefit.
Chamber Bucks make great gifts! Consumers can purchase Bucks birthday gifts, wedding gifts, Christmas gifts. Businesses can offer Chamber Bucks as employee awards or bonuses. Anyone can purchase Chamber Bucks from the chamber office and will receive a list of places where the Bucks can be redeemed.
How Does the Program Work? Chamber Bucks are like super gift certificates that are purchased at the Chamber office and spent at a participating Chamber Member Business. A listing of participating businesses will accompany each Chamber Buck. After a business receives a Chamber Buck check for payment of products or services, the Chamber Member processes the Chamber Buck for deposit as they would any other check.
What denominations are available? Chamber Bucks are issued in $10.00 and $25.00 amounts.
