Volunteers Needed

Each year, hundreds of volunteers strive through the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce to make our county a better place to live and do business. First, these volunteers commit financial resources by providing membership dues — the sole source of funding for the 700 member organization. In addition, by working on a variety of issue groups and programs, volunteers help the chamber shape issues and accomplish goals important for the economic vitality of the community. Volunteers also help themselves by expanding their network of contacts. .

If you are interested in serving or want information about any of our valuable programs, contact Sherrell Harris at 228.762.3391. Please identify your first, second and third choices so that we can balance participation among our 6 divisions:
Membership Development
Community Support & Development
Small Business
Education
Regional Strategy
